The Beginning
"Chouchou" was born from my mother. I grew up stealing her jewelry, fighting over pieces we both claimed as ours. She has always had impeccable taste, and jewelry is our shared language.
Her family name, Kapusta, translates to “cabbage” in Russian, which in French becomes “choux,” and ultimately became Chouchou. The name she once dreamed of using for her own jewelry house. I brought it to life in her honor.
With a background in luxury fashion, then immersed in the world of precious metals through my family, this brand became inevitable. A playful answer to an industry that often forgets to smile :)
The Process
Every piece is handmade by artisans using generational techniques passed down. Every detail is considered to not only carry meaning, but also make you smile.
We hold no stock. Instead, we prioritize quality and sustainability over quantity, working exclusively with recyclable precious metals designed to last.
These are pieces made to be fought over one day - just as I once did.
The Vision
We stand for playfulness, family, and pieces that carry meaning beyond trend. In a world of excess, we strive for fine jewelry that feels personal, expressive, and a little unexpected.
A small percentage of every sale is donated to animal charities, because beauty should extend beyond what we wear.
